A group of twenty students from the University of Lleida (Catalonia, Spain) visited the Geographical Institute CSFK MTA on 5th March 2018.
Lead by Professor Joan Ganau Casas and Professor Pedro Fraile Pérez de Mendiguren, masters students participated in lectures and guided tours focusing on the history of Hungary and Budapest delivered by Ágnes Erőss. The post-socialist transformation of real estate was introduced by Balázs Szabó, whereas Tamás Egedy summarized the most important urban rehabilitation projects and trend sin Budapest. On 7th March, in the morning students visited the Magdolna and Corvin-Szigony rehabilitation areas with Ágnes Erőss. This was followed by a tour guided by Márton Berki (ELTE) in the 9th District brownfield renovation area.
The institutional co-operation will be continued in May, when Ágnes Erőss will visit the University of Lleida as a visiting lecturer.
